Orlee Goldfeld is of counsel to Hollyer Brady LLP. She graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 1999) and the State University of New York at Binghamton (B.A., 1993). During her time at the Cardozo School of Law, Ms. Goldfeld served as the Managing Editor of the Cardozo Law Review and published her Note, Rule 45 (b): Ambiguity in Federal Subpoena Service, 20 Card. L. Rev. 1065 (1999). Ms. Goldfeld has extensive experience in commercial litigation since graduating in 1999.

Ms. Goldfeld began her law career in the litigation department of the firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. She then served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Howard D. McKibben of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

Ms. Goldfeld has represented corporations and individuals in all aspects of litigation from the commencement of a case through trial and appeal. Some examples of Ms. Goldfeld’s success include obtaining summary judgment in federal court for an Indonesian bank plaintiff against its borrower and guarantor. She has also obtained dismissals for a Chinese bank and for a Pakistani textile manufacturer. Ms. Goldfeld has handled banking matters involving wire transfers, letter of credit, mortgages, fraud, and bankruptcy. She has also represented banks in financial restructurings of credit agreements and in subpoena compliance.

Ms. Goldfeld routinely practices before federal and state courts. She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the States of New York, New Jersey, and California, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and for the District of New Jersey, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Goldfeld serves as a member of the Women in the Courts Task Force of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York for the term beginning September 2009. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York Women’s Bar Association, and the Steering Committee of Cardozo Women. Ms. Goldfeld speaks conversational Hebrew.
