James B. Keaney graduated from Fordham Law School (J.D., 1974) and Fordham University (B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1971). Mr. Keaney had the opportunity to serve as Notes Editor for the Fordham Law Review.

Mr. Keaney’s primary practice includes Real Estate, Cooperatives, Condominiums, Commercial Leasing and Trusts and Estates, fields in which he has practiced since 1974.

Mr. Keaney is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York as well as the Westchester County Bar Association. He is also a member of the sections on Real Property Law and Trusts and Estates for the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Keaney has served on several committees and boards. From 1992-1994, he served as Chairman of the Hastings-on-Hudson Planning Board (New York). He also served as an elected Village Trustee for Hastings-on-Hudson (1994-2000)and is a long-time member of the Hastings-on-Hudson Affordable Housing Committee.
